An internal development opportunity has arisen as a Ward Sister/Charge Nurse on the Inpatient Unit.
This is a 12-month secondment opportunity to cover for a period of maternity leave.

Main duties of the job
The Ward Sister/Charge Nurse
plays a key role in its provision of specialist palliative and supportive
care.
The role involves putting
our patients and their families first and always going the extra mile to
provide first class care.
The Ward Sister plays an
integral part of the multi-disciplinary team and has strong working
relationships with other healthcare providers.
To work within the
policy framework of the hospice supporting the team in ensuring that the aims
and objectives are met.
To carry out
clinical, managerial and educational duties in accordance with the hospice
policy procedures and standards and the NMC code.

Contract: We are pleased to be able to offer this post as a Secondment for 12 months from April 2024 *Internal Only*
Salary: St Anns Band 6 £37,127- £42,618 per annum , pro rata Competency Based Framework
Working pattern: 23 - 37.5 hours per week
Based at: Cross site working at Heald Green and Little Hulton
Free Car Parking at both St Anns Sites
Dependent on their current role, the successful candidate may be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check, the cost of which is covered by the hospice.
Any post holder within the organisation will be expected to undertake safeguarding training appropriate to their role and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures. All staff must work in accordance with their statutory roles and responsibilities in relation to safeguarding in accordance with the Working Together to Safeguarding Children 2023, The Care Act 2014, and Prevent Duty 2015.
