THIS JOB IS LOCATED IN ANDOVER, WORKING FROM ADELAIDE MEDICAL CENTRE
Our MHH Lead Practice Nurses will provide a wide range of treatments, screening and health assessments according to set protocols, guidelines and the NMC code of conduct. They will ensure clear channels of communication exist between clinical and administrative teams and project a positive and friendly image to our patients and other professionals. The lead nurse will also support all nursing clinicians within the service, providing competency assessment and sign off for any newly trained skills where applicable, and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for attending to patients who wish to be seen by a health care professional within the Hub environment providing high quality evidence based primary care nursing services to the Mid Hampshire Practice population. Patients can be pre-booked into a routine primary care appointment at the GP Hub by any GP Practice within our locality. The GP Hub acts as an extension to usual GP Practice services offering appointments at times more convenient to some patients.
